Master in Biotechnology with a Microbial and Vegetal orientation

(Approved by Ministerial Resolution Nº 726/1998 and CONEAU Resolution Nº 087/2012)

 

Objectives

To develop trained professionals in the area of plant and microbial biotechnologies to understand the needs of growth of the region and country in its productive and educational sector. To provide broad updated knowledge in fields of Molecular Biology, Genetics, Tissue Culture and Micropropagation to be able to work in the production of goods and services. To effect the updating and training of teachers of the university to modernize and apply a biotechnological approach to the existing undergraduate courses of Biology, Microbiology, agronomy and Engineering and to open opportunities in agriculture and agro-food industries.

Addressees

Graduated professionals in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Veterinary Medicine, Chemical Engineering, Agronomy and other related careers, with a length of 5 or more years in national or foreign universities.
