Proceedings for Graduate and Undergraduate Students

Mercosur Countries

  • Undergraduate students need to personally enroll in the Single Registry of Foreign Applicants (Registro Único de Requirentes Extranjeros), of the National University of Rio Cuarto, Academic Secretary, B. Jorge Colazo, and submit their validated secondary school studies documentation or the necessary documentation to initiate the validation process.

  • Graduate Students need to personally enroll in the Single Registry of Foreign Applicants (Registro Único de Requirentes Extranjeros), of the National University of Rio Cuarto, Academic Secretary, and submit their validated secondary school studies documentation or the necessary documentation to initiate the validation process.

  • Attend to the National Migration Office (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones) with the following documentation:

  • Certificate from the Single Registry of Foreign Applicants (Registro único de Requirentes) given by the UNRC.
  • Valid Passport, ID card or Nationality Certificate.
  • Documentation that proves the absence of a criminal record in the country of origin.
  • Documentation that proves the absence of a criminal record in Argentina.
  • Payment of the compensation fee
  • An Enrollment Certification from the UNRC.
  • A Certificate of Residency in Rio Cuarto.

  • Applicant given by the UNRC.
  • Valid Passport, ID card or Nationality Certificate.
  • Documentation that proves the absence of a criminal record in the country of origin.
  • Documentation that proves the absence of a criminal record in Argentina.
  • Payment of the compensation fee.
  • An Enrollment Certification from the UNRC.
  • A Certificate of Residency in Rio Cuarto.

• Undergraduate students need to submit a note requiring their registration into the National University of Rio Cuarto directed to Prof. Claudio Asaad, the Academic Secretary of the National University of Rio Cuarto (alumnosextranjeros@rec.unrc.edu.ar), and they need to include the following information:

  • Full name
  • Nationality
  • Passport number
  • Date of birth
  • Secondary school studies, specifying the school, title and country in which they were taken.
  • Consulate in which the visa is requested (Argentine Consulate in the country of origin).
  • Address where the applicant will reside in Argentina.

Important: The note must be written in Spanish and submitted via e-mail before October 30th, 2014 for the student to be admitted in 2015. The student will be noticed via e-mail about the acceptance of the note and the application process to follow.

Graduate Students need to submit a note requiring their registration into the National University of Rio Cuarto directed to Prof. Claudio Asaad, the Academic Secretary of the National University of Rio Cuarto (alumnosextranjeros@rec.unrc.edu.ar), and they need to include the following information:

  • Full name
  • Nationality
  • Passport number
  • Date of birth
  • Secondary school studies, specifying the school, title and country in which they were taken.

Note: The documentation listed here is only a referential guide to carry out the immigration proceedings. This implies that they can vary depending on the regulations stipulated by Argentinean public organizations. The UNRC does not hold responsibility of the modifications that could occur in the future.

Academic Calendar

The University’s Academic Calendar is designed by each Academic Unit. In spite of what the unit might establish each year, this is the basic arrangement of the academic year:

  • First Term: Classes from March to June. Final exams in July and August (first 15 days). Winter recess in July (15 days).
  • Second Term: Classes from August to November. Final exams in November and December (first 15 days). Summer recess in January (30 days). Final exams in February and March (first 15 days).

Safety Recommendations

Do not carry your original passport with you. Always carry a copy.

Take care of valuable items; do not display them in public (cameras, tablets, cell phones, etc.)
